Unit 1: Health, Safety and Welfare Theory in Construction and the Built Environment
1.1 Know the Responsibilities of Employers and Employees under Current Health, Safety and Welfare Legislation
1.2 Know How to Undertake Risk Assessments Using Appropriate Principles and Formats
1.3 Understand the Control Measures Used to reduce Risk and Meet Legal Requirements

Unit 2: Low Temperature Hot Water Heating Theory in Building Services Engineering
2.1 Be able to establish heating requirements for buildings
2.2 Understand the Operational Characteristics of Low Temperature Hot Water Heating Equipment and Plant
2.3 Be able to design low temperature hot water heating installations
2.4 Be able to size, select and specify heating installation pipework, plant and equipment
Unit 3: Ventilation and Air Conditioning Design Theory in Building Services Engineering
3.1 Be able to establish ventilation, warm air heating and air conditioning requirements for buildings
3.2 Understand the Operational Characteristics of Ventilation and Air Conditioning Equipment, Plant and Materials
3.3 Be able to design ventilation, warm air heating and simple single zone air conditioning installations
3.4 Ventilation and Air Conditioning Plant, Equipment Specifications and Schedules
At the end of this course successful learners will be given the option to receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

You will be given guidance through the Study Guide on the nuts and bolts of studying and submitting assignments.
Postal assignments cannot be accepted without prior permission from the tutor.
