General Questions
How do I change my Address?
If you change your address you must notify studentservices@ukdlp.com as we will send your certificate out to the address we have on file. How long do I have to wait for my certificate?
In most cases you should receive your certificate within a maximum of 12 weeks from the date you submit your final assignment. In courses assessed by examination the timescale may depend on the exam centre. Will I receive a qualification at the end of my course?
This depends on the kind of course you are doing. Many of our courses result in an Ofqual QCF (Qualifications and Credits Framework) listed qualification from a national awarding body like CACHE, NCFE or IoSCM. Others may result in the award of an ABC Awards and Certa Awards Certificate of Achievement which, while not a full national qualification, can be used as evidence of prior study, and formalises your knowledge and learning outcomes. These courses are typically used for vocational training or CPD (Continuing Professional Development). In most cases we will issue Awards, Certificates and Diplomas directly. Can I study if I live outside the UK?
Yes, we can ship your course overseas for you, and tutor support is via email. If a course requires you to sit an exam, then make sure that there is somewhere you can sit the exam in your country, or be prepared to make travel arrangements. Are there any exams?
Most of our courses do not require you to sit examinations, and are assessed through TMAs (Tutor Marked Assignments). There are a few exceptions so please get in touch and we'll be happy to advise you. Will my tutor answer my support requests quickly?
Yes, all tutors aim to give you feedback on your assignments within 10 working days, and respond to general queries within 48 hours. These are maximum estimates, and you do not usually have to wait this length of time..Why can’t I post assignments to my tutor?
We only allow students to post assignments in if the tutor agrees on whether the nature of the assignments requires physical materials to be sent in. Students generally submit assignments and receive their feedback by email. This is a simple, secure and effective method of communication. How do I contact my tutor and submit assignments?
Tutors can be contacted by email only, and all assignments must be submitted as email attachments. To receive your Welcome Letter and tutor contact information simply send an email to studentsupport@ukdlp.com with your NAME, POSTCODE and EMAIL.What happens if I default on my payment plan?
