It is necessary for Study House and our associated companies UK Distance learning and Publishing and Kendal Publishing Ltd to collect personal data on the students we enrol. This policy outlines how we will use and store that data.
Personal Information
To allow the administration of courses Study House may request the following information:
Name
Address
Date of birth
Phone number
For potential students that choose not to enrol this data is deleted after 3 months. If a student chooses to enrol this information is kept as long as is required to administer their course and gain accreditation.
Personal data is used in the administration of courses only. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails or post and will never share your information with third parties except with organisations directly involved in administering a course for the purposes of gaining certification.
Storage
All information that we receive will be stored securely and in accordance with all current legislation. We will also adhere to industry and internet best practices with regard to storing your information.
Disclosure of personal information
We may provide information about you to our employees and agents in order to administer any accounts, products and services provided to you by Kendal publishing.
We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless you have consented to such disclosure or where we are required to do so by law. Should you breach our terms and conditions or terms of use or if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, we may disclose your information to a relevant authority.
Under 16
All students and potential students that are under 16 must have a parent or guardian’s permission before supplying us with data. We cannot store data or administer a course without it.
Application to view or amend data
