This Webmaster – JavaScript course would be ideal for any aspiring web designer interested in creating interactive online content. In this course you’ll learn how to develop a series of online games using JavaScript. JavaScript is an object-based, event-driven Web programming language, which tightly integrates with HTML, and is perfect for building really interesting material for websites.

As the training programme progresses, yourJavaScript skills will be built up as you work your way through a series of ‘lessons’ and assignments which involve developing of a number of fun games, such as Minefield and Connect4. The final assignment includes the development of a technically demanding ‘Owzat cricket game, where the extensive JavaScript and jQuery skills that you learn throughout the course will be brought together to create your own beautiful application.

This course does require learners to already possess a basic knowledge of HTML.

Qualification Information

On successful completion of this course students will receive our Webmaster – JavaScript Diploma with comprehensive feedback. In addition, providing the assignments have been completed to the required standards, students will also receive an Open Awards Level 4 Certificate Award with 9 Open Awards Credits.

Open Award Credits can be accumulated with other course or unit credits over a period of time which can lead to an accredited qualification.

The course measurable learning outcomes have been benchmarked at Level 4 (using Ofqual’s Qualifi cation and Credit Framework (QCF) level descriptors) to allow you to consider the depth of study, difficulty, and level of achievement involved.
